I'm Giusi Di Paola,
Mentor and Developer
Embarking on a lifelong quest for knowledge, my educational journey has been fueled by an unwavering passion for technology, coding, and the art of communication.
I charted my academic course to culminate in a degree in Linguistics, where I delved into the captivating realm of Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). Subsequently,
I graduated from the Apple Academy, completing the standard course, the Pier Program, and the Pier + Program.
Meticulous and observant by nature, I identify as a perpetual learner, consistently embracing new knowledge and experiences.
Presently, I contribute my expertise at the creative design and tech consultancy imaginary institute,
by serving as a Jr Mentor Foundation at the Apple Developer Academy, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Italy.

The Pier + Program
Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II / 2021 - 2022 Worked on the Discompose project (Federico II) as Frontend Developer.
This project investigates the European and extra-European territories of the Hispanic Monarchy
between the 16th and 18th centuries.
- Foundation Program: I helped a team of students with CBL process, app features and prototype.
The Pier Program
Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II / 2020 - 2021 The program recruits every year 50 Academy graduated students to work
on projects that help local and international communities by providing solutions based on
technology. I’ve been selected from the Apple Academy as a Pier Student (Coder || Frontend) in
order to get the chance to stay for an extra year to start working on the Discompose project and
keep working on my own projects.
Activities:
- Trainer at Coding Girls: A project promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale. I provided
mentorship to a group of students in order to develop websites by using Wordpress.
- Foundation Program: My goal was to empower, motivate, support and guide a team of students
through the process of developing an app (“Walkie Friends”) against the violence by using
SwiftUI.
Apple Developer Academy
Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II / 2019 - 2020 The program focuses on app development, startup creation and app
design with an emphasis on creativity and collaboration.
